Copyright reform - Parallel importation of books and other published works - June 2000
On 27 June 2000 the Government announced that it will seek to amend the Copyright Act to allow legitimate software products, books, printed music and periodical publications to be parallel imported. This information sheet deals with books, printed music and periodicals (all referred to as "books" and "magazines).
